Which tumor's symptoms can mimic mitral stenosis?

Myxomas are the most common primary cardiac tumors found in adults and can cause symptoms that closely resemble mitral stenosis. A myxoma typically arises in the left atrium and can obstruct blood flow through the mitral valve, leading to a variety of clinical manifestations similar to those seen in mitral stenosis. Patients may experience symptoms such as dyspnea, fatigue, and palpitations due to the obstruction of blood flow.
